TMJ Relief

Description
The Focus Temporomandibular Joint Mobility & Facial Decompression. The Experience A focused, clinical session designed to target chronic tension where it often hides: the jaw, face, and head. This treatment addresses the primary drivers of clenching, grinding, and facial discomfort through a blend of precise external manual therapy and buccal (intra-oral) massage. By accessing the muscles from inside the mouth, we are able to release deep-seated tension in the masseter and pterygoid muscles that traditional massage cannot reach. The session incorporates targeted jaw stretches, scalp work, and facial decompression, performed without the use of oils to ensure precision and grip. Recommended Frequency For acute jaw pain or clicking, 2–4 weekly sessions are recommended to break the clenching cycle, followed by 30min or 60min monthly maintenance. Contraindications Active cold sores, dental surgery within the last 4 weeks, active tooth abscess, or recent Botox in the masseter (wait 2–4 weeks).
